February- Safer Internet

In February, as part of our international project "AI WITH HEART, MINDS ALIGHT," we took significant steps toward building a safer digital future. Collaborating with 26 schools from 10 different countries, our students engaged in a series of impactful activities to celebrate Safer Internet Day.

1. International Collaborative e-Book

One of our most significant milestones this month was the creation of a joint digital book on the StoryJumper platform. Students from all 26 partner schools worked together to research and produce content on Online Safety.

The e-book covers essential digital citizenship topics:

  • Verifying reliable websites and identifying scams.

  • Device security: The importance of updates, strong settings, and antivirus tools.

  • Digital resilience: How to react to uncomfortable online situations.

  • Media awareness: Recognizing clickbait and manipulative content.

Through this international cooperation, students developed not only their digital literacy but also their ability to work in a global team.

2. Game Zone: Mission is Safer Internet

To make learning interactive, students across all partner schools participated in the "Game Zone: Mission is Safer Internet" digital escape room designed on Genially.

"You are trapped! To escape, you must prove that you know how to navigate safely on the internet."

By solving riddles and answering eSafety questions, students collected digital keys to "unlock" the exit. This activity successfully:

  • Reinforced safe internet rules in a gamified environment.

  • Improved critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills.

  • Allowed students to analyze real-life digital risks through scenario-based learning.

3. Survey Zone: Your Voice Matters!

Our "Survey Zone: Your Voice Matters!" activity via SurveyMonkey bridged the gap between school and home. This comprehensive survey involved both students and parents across our 10-country network.

The results highlighted a strong commitment to digital ethics and a high level of awareness regarding online risks. This data-driven approach helped us:

  • Measure the current awareness level of our project community.

  • Strengthen school-parent collaboration in digital security.

  • Give students a platform where their voices and opinions are valued.

A safer internet is possible with conscious generations. By working alongside 26 schools internationally, our students have proven that they are not just users of technology, but responsible and ethical digital citizens.

We congratulate all participating students and teachers for their dedication and success this month!
