EU CodeWeek Activities

As part of our AI with Heart, Minds Alight project, our students participated in inspiring and hands-on CodeWeek activities that brought technology, creativity, and emotion together.

In the first activity, students explored how Artificial Intelligence can understand the world around us. Using Teachable Machine, they trained their own AI models to recognize different emotions and gestures. By testing their models with real expressions—such as happy, surprised, or confused—they discovered how machines learn from data and improve through practice.

Next, students combined imagination with technology. With the help of DALL·E in ChatGPT, they described their dreams, wishes, and futuristic ideas in words. The AI then turned these descriptions into unique digital artworks. Each student created a personal vision brought to life through the power of artificial intelligence.

Finally, all creations were brought together in a collaborative digital exhibition, where students showcased their emotion-recognition models and AI-generated artworks side by side. This colorful gallery highlights not only their technical skills but also their creativity, empathy, and curiosity.

Through these CodeWeek activities, our students learned that AI is not only about codes and machines—it is also about understanding people, expressing ideas, and creating a better future with heart and imagination.
